The Cass County ESDA oversees emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation in case of any natural or man-made disaster. Cass ESDA facilitates coordination, and guidance. Cass ESDA provides a link between local entities of government and state resources during emergencies and disasters.

FREE service for all Cass County Residents
Cass County has purchased a sophisticated electronic emergency notification system. This system is called Genasys. Every Cass County resident who chooses to enroll will receive emergency alerts. The system is currently up and running. Advance notice of looming danger such a severe weather alerts and warnings, road closures and other emergencies will be immediately sent to the device of your choosing. Other notifications will be developed over time such as boil orders, evacuations, etc. Enrollees into the Genasys system can choose the method of notification that they would like to receive; phone call, text message, social media, e-mail, etc. Again, this system is absolutely free. Cass county will retain, maintain and further develop this system with our working partners and emergency providers. Below are the
