Description:

The Treasurer is responsible for cash receipting, disbursements, payroll, financial reports, budget, real estate taxes of the County. The Treasurer also deposits and keeps the revenue and public monies of the county from all sources and disburses it according to the law. A key duty of the Treasurer is keeping an accurate and detailed account of all money received and all money disbursed for Cass County.

                -Pursuant to 35 ILCS 200/21-15 Interest accrues at a rate of 1.5%
                -Delinquent tax publication will be October 18, 2024.  To avoid publication full payment must be in office by close of business October 10, 2024.
                -Annual tax sale is November 8, 2024 at 9:30 am.  Any delinquent tax must be offered for sale.
